* KAMEKE PROJECT * REALIZED

Yeah! The boreholes in our project ’Water for Kameke’ have been realized and that means access to clean drinking water.

We are very pleased with the completion of this project. The two new boreholes provide clean drinking water for about 1,000 people every day.

Browse through the pictures and get inspired.

Ugandese Photographer Matthias visited Kameke when the boreholes were just installed. In the pictures you'll see that the fences weren't placed around the borehole yet. If all had gone well, they would have been placed by now to protect the water source. This prevents the water getting contaminated by cattle.

Thanks to everyone who have been drinking MARIE-STELLA-MARIS water and contributed to the financing of this project!
